About BGC Publishing

We Are a Creative Publishing House

We born from a simple conviction: that words and sound possess a living force that endures beyond time. As an independent, values-driven publisher, we devote ourselves to the publication of poetry and literary works that are sincere, grounded, and unafraid to preserve depth of meaning amid the pressures of rapid commodification.
In book publishing, we provide space for poetic voices shaped by aesthetic and intellectual awareness—whether from established authors or emerging writers still discovering their language. Each book is treated as a cultural artifact: edited with care, designed with respect, and published with ethical responsibility toward both its content and its readers.

In parallel, we engage in the publication of solo piano recordings—spanning jazz and classical traditions—that place silence, nuance, and expressive integrity at the center of the listening experience. We believe solo piano to be one of the most honest musical forms: unshielded, unadorned, a direct and intimate dialogue between musician, instrument, and time itself. For this reason, every recording we release is curated with the same artistic rigor as the editorial process of a literary work.

We do not pursue mass production, but the sustainability of value. For us, publishing is an act of cultural stewardship—an effort to preserve memory, to extend the breath of art, and to bring forth works worthy of being read, heard, and remembered over the long term.

Our Editorial & Artistic Philosophy

We approach publishing as a deliberate and reflective practice. Each project begins with attentive listening—to language, to silence, to intention. In poetry and literary works, we privilege clarity of voice, coherence of vision, and a disciplined relationship with form. We are drawn to works that do not merely speak, but endure; works that reward rereading and invite contemplation rather than haste.

Our editorial process is collaborative and rigorous. We work closely with authors and artists to ensure that every publication reaches its most truthful and refined expression, without compromising the integrity of the original vision. Revision, for us, is not correction—it is deepening.

Curation in Music Publishing

In music, our curatorial focus centers on solo piano as an intimate and complete artistic statement. Whether rooted in jazz improvisation or classical interpretation, we seek recordings that honor restraint, timing, and emotional precision. We value performances that trust space as much as sound, and presence as much as virtuosity.

Recording and post-production are approached with transparency and respect for acoustic authenticity. The goal is not polish for its own sake, but fidelity—to the instrument, to the performer, and to the moment of performance.

Design, Materiality, and Listening Experience

We believe that form matters as much as content. Books are designed to be held, revisited, and lived with; recordings are prepared to be listened to attentively, not consumed passively. Typography, layout, cover art, sequencing, and sound dynamics are all treated as integral parts of the work itself.

Every release is conceived as a cohesive experience—where visual, tactile, and auditory elements align with the spirit of the work.

Commitment to Cultural Continuity

Our work is guided by a long-term perspective. We are committed to supporting artists whose practices contribute to cultural continuity rather than momentary visibility. This includes nurturing emerging voices, preserving thoughtful archives, and maintaining standards that resist dilution by trends.

We see publishing not as an endpoint, but as a conversation—between generations, disciplines, and sensibilities.

Independent by Choice

Remaining independent allows us to move at the necessary pace of thought and care. It enables us to make decisions rooted in artistic judgment rather than market urgency. Independence, for us, is not a limitation—it is a condition for honesty.

Standing at the intersection of literature and music, we exist as a meeting ground: a place where words and tones encounter one another, affirm one another, and together offer an alternative vision of how art may meaningfully inhabit modern life.

Vision

To become a trusted and enduring cultural publisher that preserves, cultivates, and extends the life of literary and musical works whose value deepens over time—contributing meaningfully to the continuity of artistic thought across generations.

Mision

To publish poetry, literature, and solo piano music with rigor, integrity, and long-term cultural awareness; to support voices of aesthetic and intellectual depth across generations; to treat every book and recording as a carefully shaped cultural artifact; and to sustain an independent publishing practice guided by artistic judgment rather than market urgency.
